Canyon Beach Park is located on the North shore of Canyon Lake near Hancock. From IH 35, take Exit No. 191 North of New Braunfels, Texas. Drive West on FM 306 going 18 miles, turn left on Canyon Park Road. Or from US Hwy 281 turn east on FM 306, travel 12 miles; turn right on Canyon Park Road. Canyon Beach is located approximately one mile on the left of Canyon Park Road. Canyon Swim Beach is located to the left before entering Canyon Park.

Canyon Park is located on the North shore of Canyon Lake near Hancock. From IH 35 take Exit 191 north of New Braunfels, Texas. Drive West on FM 306 20 Miles, turn left on Canyon Park Road or from US 281 turn east on FM 306,travel east 12 miles, turn right on Canyon Park Road. Canyon Park contains 150 campsites, two overnight shelters and one day use shelter. For more information on our Group Shelters click on the "Group Shelter Areas" link on the left. The park is open April 1st- September 30th from 7:00am to 10:00pm.

Comal Park

Comal Park is located on the South shore of Canyon Lake near Startzville. From IH 35, take FM 306 exit no.191 just North of New Braunfels; travel West on FM 306 for 14 miles to FM 2673 and turn left. Continue West on FM 2673 for 8 miles to the Dairy Queen in Startzville and turn right on Canyon Bend Street. Follow the signs to the park for an additional two miles. Or from US Hwy 281 take Hwy 46 East past Smithson Valley High School and turn left on FM 3159. Continue on FM 3159 for 6.7 miles, then turn left at the traffic light on FM 2673 in Startzville. Continue on FM 2673 for one mile. Turn right at the Dairy Queen on Canyon Bend Street. Follow the signs to the park for an additional two miles. The park is open daily April 1st - September 30th from 7:00am to sunset. Comal Park has two boat ramps, 65 picnic sites, a large swim beach, children's playground, a restroom at the beach and boatramp, rinse off shower and horseshoe pit.
Note: On arrival, visitors should check-in at the park entrance station; ask the attendant for the official time of park closure for that day.

Cranes Mill Park

Cranes Mill Park is located on the Southwest shore of Canyon Lake off FM 2673, just past the village of Startzville. From IH 35 take Canyon Lake exit west on FM 306; approximately 14 miles. Turn left on FM 2673 just after Guadalupe River crossing. Cranes Mill Park is located at the westernmost end of FM 2673 and South Cranes Mill Road. The park is open year-round, 7am to 10pm daily. Cranes Mill Park offers 46 campsites with tables & ground cookers only (no RV hookups).

Guadalupe Park

OPEN TO ALL for HIKING AND FISHING!
Guadalupe Park is located below Canyon Dam along the first mile of the Guadalupe River. It features an ADA-accessible parking lot and trailway with fishing pier on the north side and a foot trail along the river on the south. The river can be accessed from the trails for fishing with state fishing license. The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) manages a hydropower plant along the north side of the river near the fishing pier. This stretch of the Guadalupe river is very popular as the State's premier trout fishing stream. The Guadalupe River is the Southernmost sustainable trout fishery in the nation. No camping or picnic facilities are available. A restroom facility is located at nearby Overlook Park near the southern end of Canyon Dam. Overlook Park closes at sunset daily. Use of Guadalupe Park is free of charge.

Overlook Park

From FM Hwy 306 follow South Access Road to C.O.E. Road and turn right and proceed up the hill. From FM 2673 at Sattler, go northwest on South Access Road for 2 miles, turn left on C.O.E. Road and proceed up the hill.
Overlook Park is on a hilltop at the south end of Canyon Dam. It is open daily from 7 AM until sunset and is the location of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers headquarters at Canyon Lake. This office is for visitor contact and information and is only open Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm daily excluding Federal Holidays. Overlook Park offers a scenic view to Canyon Lake and Dam. There is access to the Verada Real walking trail across Canyon Dam. Restrooms and visitor parking are available. There are no camping or picnic facilities. The use of this park is free of charge.

North Park

North Park is located off FM 306 near the dam. From IH 35 take FM 306 exit no.191 located just west of New Braunfels, travel west on FM 306 for 18.5 miles, or from US 281 take FM 306 east 16.5 miles. The park is open from 7:00am to 10:00pm. There are 19 campsites (no RV hookups), vault toilets, no showers, no boat ramp. This is a popular scuba diving area.

Potter's Creek Park

Potter's Creek Park is located on the northwest side of Canyon Lake off of Potter's Creek Road at the Hwy 484 (Fischer Road) junction. From IH 35 take FM 306 exit no.191 located just north of New Braunfels, travel west on FM 306 for 26 miles, or from US 281 take FM 306 east 10 miles. Turn south on Potter's Creek Road and continue two miles to reach the park entrance. Potter's Creek Park is a beautiful park that includes one hundred fourteen (114) modern RV campsites, seven (7) Screened Shelters, ten (10) designated tent camping sites, and five (5) Family Sites.

Randolph Recreation Park at Canyon Lake
Canyon Lake Recreation Park, a 141-acre park is located in the Jacobs Creek Park area of the Canyon Lake Reservoir. Year around activities include picnic sites, camping areas, Recreational Vehicle parking areas with electricity, sewage and water hook-ups, boat ramp, party pavilion, nature trail, beach, playgrounds, shelters and cabins. The marina supports a wide variety of water activities with a fishing pier, boat rentals that includes pontoon boats, ski and fishing boats. The marina boasts wet and dry slips. The Sales Shop stocks bait, oil, fuel, bait, camping and boating resale items.
